A game you can play
A live, publicly accessible browser arcade game with touch controls and a shared distance leaderboard.
BUSAN SHARK is an independent game studio turning real-world stories into character-led games. Our first browser game is live and covered by four Korean news outlets. Next: mobile play, with Claude-assisted missions and bilingual storytelling.
✦✷On September 18, 2026, a shark was spotted in the waters near Busan North Port. That story inspired Bukangi's Way Home (부캉이의 집으로 가는 길), a free browser game where players dodge debris, collect helpful items and travel as far as they can toward the open sea.
A live, publicly accessible browser arcade game with touch controls and a shared distance leaderboard.
Coverage in national Korean news outlets, including SBS, MBC, Newsis and Yonhap News TV, within days of launch.
The live game also draws attention to missing children after each run. We want games to inspire empathy as well as play.
We are developing short, character-led games for casual mobile players, starting with an independently built browser game. We intend to use Claude API as a creative content layer — not to replace the game engine.
Our goal is to connect familiar arcade fun, expressive characters and AI-assisted narrative systems. Our AI features are at the prototype stage; the original web game is already live.
A practical product plan, starting from what exists and expanding only as features are built and tested.
Fast-play endless dodging, character charm, score competition and a meaningful end-of-run moment.
Validated goals and AI-written mission descriptions that can later fit into game events and challenges.
New levels, story chapters and international releases, designed for mobile players first.
For casual players, an expressive character and a fresh daily challenge can make a short session worth coming back to. For an independent creator, writing and translating every update by hand limits how often new stories can ship.
We are starting with browser arcade players and targeting casual mobile players. Daily challenges and story chapters are our next experiments in repeat play.
Claude will draft chapter-specific mission text in Korean and English from predefined goals. Creator review and consistent game rules keep content grounded as we test new updates.
The browser game is free. We plan to test demand for optional mobile story packs and cosmetics, then explore character partnerships. These are proposed revenue streams.
Created by 황금별, the maker credited in Bukangi’s Way Home. A real-world story became a playable product, with independent coverage by SBS, MBC, Newsis and Yonhap News TV.
Our next steps are to connect missions to gameplay events, compare Korean and English content quality, and measure mission completion, repeat play and API cost per update. The AI demo currently uses simulated run inputs; mobile releases are planned.
